When I first saw Primulina, Asian Violets, in a video, I searched until I found them. I ordered some; one purple, one blue, and one yellow. This is the yellow one. Yeah, I know.
By the time it bloomed, and I realized it wasn’t the plant I had ordered, almost six months had passed. Kinda late to complain, and I really didn’t want to complain, I mean I liked it and was happy to have it, I just wanted to know what it actually is. I tried with the seller and with the grower, but since I wasn’t mad and complaining, well, I still don’t know what it is.
I’m one of those plant people with plant stakes identifying the plant and when and where I got it, so I want to know. I also keep a plant notebook. I’m not obsessive, just if I write it down, I don’t have to remember it, and I’m dealing with limited cranial disc space. When I get a bit of free time, I check pictures of Primulina to try to figure it out. It’s not a high priority.
And I also keep my eyes open for the yellow Primulina I originally ordered. It, too, is not a high priority until the others start blooming and then I wish I also had a yellow one.
I’ll keep you posted.
