An image of a leaves and new growth on Hoya chinghungensis

The last hoya haul, which was going to be the last hoya haul for the year, turned out not to be the last hoya haul. What can I say? You’re plant people, you understand. I found a couple of long-time wish list plants, at prices I was prepared to pay, and, well, here we are.

H versteegii and H insularis were longtime list residents. H chinghungensis, H microstemma, and H occultata were recent additions to the list. This is my second try with H patcharawalai. There was, and is, something wrong with that first plant and it will probably become compost. This new one looks good and healthy.

After my last haul, I got a lot of questions about where I got my plants; so, in this haul video I included the names of the sellers. I paid for all the plants, save one which was a “thank you” cutting, and ordered them under my name, not PlantedInRI. I was just another customer. I have owned and operated small, online businesses, and I’m happy to support others in their efforts; especially when they do a good job, as these sellers did.

So, with only about a week to go, this really is the last hoya haul for 2023. Thanks for watching my videos and for your comments throughout the year. Enjoy whatever holidays you choose to celebrate. And as usual,

I’ll keep you posted.
