Hoya kentiana (inner variegated)

This Hoya kentiana (inner variegation) was the star of one of my first plant videos, almost two years ago. He was a birthday present I bought for myself in the early days of my hoya adventure and may have been the first of my hoyas that I didn’t worry about.

I know about the kentiana vs. wayetii debate, and I’m not the one to resolve it. The tag said kentiana so that’s what I’m going with.

He’s been a steady grower, not fast, just steady. He’s been in a net pot with bark and sphag since the beginning. I tried brighter light, but the leaves started looking washed out, so back to medium. I’d love to try him in pon but it ain’t broke so I’m keeping the status quo.

It was fun to go back and watch that old video and see how much he, and some others, have grown. A little trip down memory lane, a visual record of my plant adventures.

I’ll keep you posted.
