Anthurium veitchii, Serissa foetida, Eucalyptus cinerea. Coleonema pulchellum, Begonai degei

Maybe it’s because Spring is finally here, or at least it seems like it’s here. I live in southern New England and we could get snow tomorrow. But I got a hankering for something different, well some things different. So, I did a bit of looking around and found a few little gems to add to the collection.

The Anthurium veitchii because I’ve been doing well with Anthurium andraeanum and wanted a step up in fanciness. The Begonia dregei because it has very small leaves and it’s time to redeem my earlier begonia missteps.

The Serissa foetida and the Coleonema pulchellum are to try my hand at small trees. I can’t call it bonsai, yet, but maybe someday. The Eucalyptus cinerea because it’s funky and not like anything else I have.

So, these are going to be the experiments. All my plants seem like experiments at some point in the process, but with a little confidence, a little luck, and a bit of research I think they’ll do fine.

I’ll keep you posted.
