I wrote about my Aglaonema ‘Maria’ on my Instagram feed a few weeks ago; about how my Ags were some of my favorites. They don’t need a lot of light, they don’t want a lot of water, and they just grow and look good. When I bring a new one home, I get it potted up, the oldest leaf turns yellow, and then we’re all fine.
Maria and her friends live in the den. After a long day, I sat down for a couple of minutes to watch a YouTube video about plants. Go figure. I looked over toward the gang, and couldn’t figure out what was going on with Maria.
I know that plants “flower”. It’s how they get their plant on. Most of us buy Ags for their foliage. It’s why I bought mine, so I hadn’t really thought about it blooming. But there it was. It’s not the showiest, but it does look nice against those leaves. I hope it means that Maria is happy.
I’ll keep you posted.
